Here's my story:

Since 1995, Ive been a full-time working musician. Over the years, I've done many different musical things to pay the bills. And even now, from day to day, it changes. I write songs. I produce and engineer music for other musicians at my recording studio. I travel the country leading worship and performing in concert. I write and record jingles and instrumental music for various commercial purposes. The list goes on. Basically, I'm blessed enough that I get to make music for a living, and I've never had to have a full-time job working for anyone. It's about as great as it sounds.

I love my job, and its allowed me to meet all kinds of interesting people and go to all kinds of great places. Who knows how long it will last? But for now, I'm deeply thankful to be where I am, doing what I am doing.

I am a husband and father. My 3 children are adopted, and I'm a pretty big advocate of adoption and all kinds of children-rescuing endeavors.

I'm a Jesus follower. Basically this just means that I've ordered my life around a certain Way. That Way holds to and proclaims specific Truth. And that Truth calls me to a certain kind of Life. That Way, that Truth, and that Life are all manifest in the person of Jesus, a man who happens to be God.

It's weird, I know. And depending on where you come from and what you believe, you might have some strong feelings when you read something like what I have written here. I hope that you can judge my art and my efforts upon their own merits, but if not, I can't do anything about that.
